The Metropolitan Transit Authority utilizes Shortpath’s visitor management system at its high security facility at 2 Broadway. At the request of the MTA, Shortpath integrated Intellicheck’s driver’s license reader with its visitor management system.
This fulfilled two purposes: One, all visitors need to verify their identity. Second, the guard can use the data to search for pre-registered visitors. If the visitor is not pre-registered, the system can use the driver’s license to generate a visitor pass and record the information from each visitor’s license. Through a relationship with Intellicheck, we are now a certified reseller of the reader and the combined software.
