Why: To register incoming visitors and guests coming to visit your office. How: Following are instructions for entering visitors for the Lobby Desk and for your own office’s list of visitors. Plus: For your own office, Shortpath can provide you with a badge printer and customized badges for your office.
Office Administrators: Notice the Manage Visitor Section
located in the bottom left box of the Administrative Task column. Other Users: Notice the “New Visit” Link in the gray “My Building
Section” towards the bottom of the page. |

ADD
VISITORS
Click on the “Add New Visitor” button and fill in the appropriate fields.
a. If you would like your visitor to receive an email notifying them of their upcoming visit and the building’s security instructions, include their email address in the associated field. |

For Office Administrator’s Only to View and/or Manage your office’s visitors, click on the “View All Visitors” button from the Shortpath Homepage or the screen confirming the addition of a visitor to the list. What you can do from the “View All Visitor” Page: a) The “*” column allows you to view the time the visitor is registered with the building (registered means either the time the visitor request is confirmed by security or the time they are checked in at security. b) The link “Details” in the xxx column, opens into a pop-up window with all the details about the visitor including who entered the person, who is being visited, the company the visitor is from, when they are checked in and out of the system, etc. c) To
change the parameters of a visit – click on the “Change” link
at the far right.
When changing a visit please make sure all the information is correct when confirming (these changes will also be recorded with the lobby desk)

Enter Visitors to
your office and print a Visitor Pass (Optional)

The middle column, “Tenant Record”, is controlled by your
office. 2. Once a visitor is entered the middle column will be colored blue with the abbreviation Exp. (expected) inside.
a. The blue “Exp.” box will change to a green “IN” box. b. This indicates the person has arrived at your office. c.
You can check the visitor out by clicking the left side button
again and clicking “check out” at the bottom of the page. The green “IN” box will change into
a red “OUT” box. 4. This process allows you to manage the visitors arriving and departing your specific office. |

e).
At the bottom of the page fill in the earliest date you want
to search from in the Date Field.
f). Select the time period you wish to search, one day, one week, one month.
g). Once you click on “find”, the Visitor List will now show you all visitors within the time frame requested. |
